Whom do you people think you are to tell me what art is and what art isn’t; you are a disgrace to the art world if you think that something that is created with love hope and a heart. First off what is not art to some people is a master peace to others. Take lets say (throwing out a name) Pablo Picasso (I cant spell, I know that so don’t criticize me on that) his paintings look like something my little brother could do if he colored out side of the lines on a coloring book. But the man is a genius to other people (I think he is). Second, this art, my art, is not for amusement, it is my feelings. I have many feelings of aggression, fear and every other feeling that anyone else has out there righting the word "FUCK YOU " on a peace of paper or even typed on my computer is art because it is my emotion and I will agree with you. Something with out emotion or something that lacks emotions is not art because it was created to just be there it has no purpose no feelings and no point. (Back to Picasso) look at the mans paintings and you find something there, you take a fast glance at it and think hmm (I am thinking of the panting titled the room) its a crooked sloppy bed with a crooked house some blue green yellow and brown paint that looks almost as if it was finger-painted on to a peace of card board. But than you look at longer, and longer and you realize that it is a god created mother fucking masterpiece, it has such strong emotions and feelings that your head could explode. My art is simple, I was inspired by an artist's painting that I saw at the DIA (Detroit institute of art)(I cant recall the artist name) but it was amassing it was the most impact full painting to me of the entire gallery it was of a white line painted on a red back round or a red painted with a while line left down the middle, but how ever you look at it is was a simple line, but that line is everything, that line was life looking at you in the face. Most people walked past that line and did not think of it twice, I sat there for hours. What I am trying to get at is that it may not look like art; it may not smell like art, it might not even feel like art. But to some one some single person out there it is, and there art can mean the world to them. So your art is not mine but my art is my art. It is me it is my life it is my god given destiny and that’s what makes my art mine.
